- Mitsubishi just announced that the iMiEV will soon be using Panasonic's new SCiB batteries that recharge in only 15 minutes. Cool. I spend that amount of time waiting in line for gas each week.

- Unfortunately the batteries are useless below-15 degrees Celsius which drastically lowers the range of a full charge. Should be a good car though, for those who live in cities in a warmer climate.

- i like it. very futuristic. if we can creat very very very efficient solar panels, and place them on top of EV, no doubt it can charge the car where ever you are, and no doubt drive it as a solar car. and if we can create a battery that can hold alot of electricity, oh man, im getting all excited just talking about it.

- Repairs for what? How much do you pay to have the oil changed on your laptop? I just had my car in for it's "B" service and it was just under $350. That was for an oil, filter, air filter, and coolant change with a $40 discount. EV's have much less to break down/wear out in a mechanical since. I expect to save about $600 a year on maintenance costs alone.
- The only reason I can see for the fans is the drag is already there. If the fan was not there, it would just be a flat surface for the air to bounce off of. But I would like to see the wind tunnel data for the car with and with out the fans.
- Pretty impressive. 112 MPH and holds a charge for around 124 miles. That's good stuff. I just wonder price.
