How induction motors work.

Komentarze:

How induction motors work- im impressed with the faraday like, aluminum disc demonstration , It reminded me of Adam Tromblys, Bruce De Palma's, or Tiwari's homopolar generator setup..please make a simple homopolar generator that produces several volts at several hundred amps due to the short circuit rotor characteristics interacting with permanent magnets and demonstrate to the world.. controversially claimed to give COP of greater than 1!!
- we are the manufacturer of electric motor,If need please contact me
- I don't know how I misunderstood your explanations when I first watched this video a year or so ago but I did.
I think it was all too technically vague with my brain linguistically primed fresh from school but obviously that was the point so the uninformed would understand without getting lost in the quantum mechanics.

You were one step away from "the thingy" and "this here wutchamuhcallit" lol
- How exactly is the current delayed to produce new phases?
- Yeah you explain things really well, love your work Matthias
- Great work Sir...Your video was very helpful to My Electrical Engineering (EE)....Thank You Very Much...
- this was great
Thank you sir
- Another master class - not just in the subject.  Your videos are an amazing example of clear, plain teaching.  It's a good reminder for my own work that it's not about fancy graphics, it's about how deep understanding produces simple explanations.  Wonderful!
- HI,  mega grateful,  you're way better than many at your intention...thank you.

Any chance one could tell me how to get a Hard Drive motor to work...most have 3 connectors. I think they are brushless.  Steppers too if poss.

using a DC motor to make some electricity,  (from tape drive and it really kicks out the juice)  does that mean I produce ac? as the motor is magno with two magnets only,  I assume one half cycle is positive and one neg...can battery take both or am I wasting half the work,  got two big caps but they seem to be just to smooth out motor operation. I think lol.  sorry,  I'm trying to figure out if I want to study this area,  tried mechanic and cut my hands and the grease and bandages did not work for me.  Bless,  Rich

- I can understand how a centrifugal switch could be used to solve the inefficiency problem when the motor has come up to speed. But how is the centrifugal switch connected to the rotor? At first glance it seems that such a centrifugal switch would need to have brushes (since the switch must be housed on the rotor), but then that defeats the reason we prefer induction motors in many applications: they are brushless.

So why use an induction motor if the centrifugal switch has its own brushes? Or is there a way around this?
- What the difference between a 3 phase AC induction motor and a brushless DC motor ? The windings seem identifcal, is the only difference the permanent magnet in rotor instead of the squirrel cage rotor ?
- Love this video. I learned something today.
- Waoo man what's a great explanation.Thank you.

- Love your vids and explanations. Use your weights and lift, with your knowledg and a shredded body you would be a god.
- Best video of induction motors ever!
- Thank you
- good job
- Nice videos!
