- i wish they still made lots of stick shift cars :'( sad days theres are that you can find a manual tran anymore

- Can you switch from D to manual/sport while driving? Or do you have to be stopped to do this opperation? The car in question is a 2010 520d,
- everything seems good besides if you want to switch from manual shifting, back to sport rather than just the D for drive.

- Auto are good with steptronic, traffic Jams suck!
- automatics can suck a fat dick
- put it in neutral when stopped for longer periods of time, saves you some fuel because the transmission isn't trying to pull the car away from a stop with no gas, I do this when driving my Discovery 3 and you can tell when you've taken it out of drive and put it into neutral because its stops "pulling" against the brake...

- You can if you are driving slowly. I asked the staff at one of the test drives and he said that if you are driving lets say 60kmh and you switch to d/s, you will suddenly be driving in 1st gear until it switches/you switch to 2-3. And we all know what this leads to. However, if you are driving 10kmh, it would work. :)
